Staff will use a cash register and/or point-of-sale (POS) system; interact positively with customers; verify pricing for items and or services; process refunds when necessary; wrap and or package items; apply discounts when called for; maintain and keep counter or sales area clear and presentable at all times and maintain a record of sales.

Ability to stand for prolonged periods; Computer skills for POS systems; and Attention to detail. Ensure fresh coffee beans are in the espresso machine each morning. Prepare an espresso drink and Create specialty coffee beverages for customers. Take food orders and serve food to customers. Take orders for coffee and tea. Handle food preparation in the mornings and evenings. Prepare and serve coffee and tea according to health and safety standards (safety regulations). Be responsible for brewing coffee every morning. Make sandwiches for in-store and delivery orders
