Citigroup Financial Reporting Specialist in Warsaw, Poland

The Finance Reporting Specialist is responsible preparation selected regulatory filings.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the preparation of regulatory submissions to National Bank of Poland (financial reporting), Bank Guarantee Fund, Polish Financial Supervisory Authority

  • Backing the preparation of Bank’s statutory financial reporting

  • Supporting the bank’s parent company in fulfillment of respective regulatory submission on consolidated level

  • Automations of the process, controls, and data quality checks, including: cooperation in the data warehouse implementation project

  • Conducting variance analysis and sanity checks related to reported data

  • Cooperation with bank’s other organizational units, auditors, regulators, banking sector

  • Preparation of internal manual and procedures covering the reporting process

  • Utilization of financial knowledge within entire finance division in order to achieve the organizational goals

Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of experience in regulatory or financial reporting

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience, Master’s degree preferred

  • Extensive experience in using MS Office, especially MS Excel and MS Access

  • Skills and experience in using database language and business intelligence tools will be advantageous

  • Familiarity with IFRS/IAS, including banking sector specific areas

  • High proficiency in English and Polish

  • Ability to work with counterparts in different areas of organization

  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
