Our team is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join us. The successful candidate will be an exceptionally strong communicator both written and verbally, and will lead multi-discipline, highly technical project initiatives. The ideal candidate will be familiar with one or more AWS products, and will have successfully managed multiple technology projects.

The TPM will be fully competent in project management tools and techniques for all phases of the project lifecycle.

Successful candidates will have a strong program management and system design background. As well as be detail oriented, self-driven and have excellent problem-solving abilities.

Key job responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Work with systems engineers, system developers, technical product managers and software developers to coordinate the launch of different services into special regions.

  • Identify process improvement opportunities and high-risk areas.

  • Produce and evaluate launch, resource, and compliance metrics.

  • Work with service owners to develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.

  • Manage the build and deployment of new tooling to streamline and automate security, testing, and region launch related initiatives.

  • Support process improvement projects in coordination with service teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

  • Experience in technical program management working directly with software engineering teams

  • Experience managing cross-functional programs and release schedules

  • Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design

  • Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps

  • Experience managing technical programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience working directly with engineering teams

  • Experience in system design

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
