HP Inc. Senior Technical Program Manager in Spring, Texas

We are seeking a high performing, experienced, and energetic Technical Program Manager to lead the coordination, management, and status communication of cross-functional programs. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical stakeholders across multiple organizations within HP and our partners. You will need to operate in complex disciplines, navigate ambiguous situations, and exercise independent judgment in developing project goals and direction.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a program involving multiple functions and project teams to drive the program, from ideation if yet to be defined, to implementation of a solution with defined timelines and resources.

  • Develop and direct the creation of features, schedules, critical deliverables, and other program support requirements

  • Identify areas of improvement in executing defined solutions and defines path-forward actions

  • Lead and influence efforts across Pan-HP business units to ensure all areas are represented and solutions are implemented in a fair and inclusive manner

  • Communicate program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to key stakeholders and executives

  • Manage activities of supporting program teams and internal and external development partners

  • Communicate program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborate with business unit management and internal partners and stakeholders to recommend and implement necessary changes to drive continuous improvement and efficiency

  • Lead and provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members to set an example of program management innovation and excellence

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.

  • PMP/PMI certification preferred

  • Typically 10+ years experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience designing and developing project and program planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results.

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Demonstrated business acumen, understanding of organizational strategy, and successful experience managing all aspects of cross- business unit programs, including communicating with internal and external stakeholders and directing matrixed teams and resources.

  • History of innovation withexamples of developing new technical, engineering and/or manufacturing processes.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.

  • Ability to effectively communicate program management architectures, plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at senior management levels.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $143850 - $221550 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
