Intel PAE for demo core team - HW/FW in Seoul, South Korea

Job Description

IA(Intel Automotive) group is looking for the role of Hardware PAE(Platform Application Engineer), supporting customer-enabling activities in exciting and broad market segments, including automotive and AI technology. Our team provides direct customer design-win/in support to accelerate customer time to market and develop Automotive/AI-specific demo scenarios to deliver Intel technical value to customers. The candidate will be resposible for the HW and Firmware domain closely partnering with internal architecture, marketing, and backend HW engineering teams, and also will drive efforts in pathfinding to design new conceptual architecture and demo scenarios across multiple platforms, and technologies for various product lines. Candidate should have experience in Firmware, HW System and/or HW schemetic designs and the debugging of these systems. Experience with Intel Processor Family SOC, boards, and related technologies are advantageous, such as CPU, GPU, RAM, ROM, eMMC, PCIe, WiFi, Ethernet, USB, CAN, I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO, etc.

Qualifications

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Participate in new product and program meetings

Develop and Publish New Product Collaterals

Develop Product Solutions via Whitepaper, Application Notes, Utilities, Tools

Customer Support

HW Design reviews

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Master or Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Hardware Engineering related field with 5+ years of working experience in system-level engineering

Comprehensive technical RnD experience and skills to understand customer-ready material

Comprehensive experience with platform bring-up (including Firmware, BKC, troubleshooting), capturing logs

BIOS/Bootloader/Firmware development, system integration.

Debugging automotive applications-related problems from concurrent system configuration, firmware, and hardware variables.
