Robert Half CFO/Controller in Rutland, Vermont

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a diligent and detail-oriented Controller/CFO in the bustling city of Rutland, Vermont. This role lies within the CFO function and will be instrumental in overseeing financial reporting and analysis, managing internal and external audits, and leading a dedicated team.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation and filing of quarterly regulatory reports in a timely and accurate fashion

• Managing and overseeing both internal and external audits for the company

• Implementation of software and facilitation of mergers as required

• Streamlining processes to reduce the number of days required for month-end close process and financial reporting package preparation

• Leading and managing a team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment

• Utilizing skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Excel Formulas, MS Excel, Microsoft Excel, Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure efficient financial operations.

This role is located at Rutland, Vermont, 05701, United States.

Requirements • Must have at least 1 year of experience as a CFO or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.

• Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the use of complex Excel formulas.

• Strong financial and accounting background, including deep understanding of financial data analysis and forecasting.

• Proven ability to drive the financial planning of a company by analyzing its performance and risks.

• Experience with corporate governance and business strategy is desirable.

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.

• Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.

• Ability to work independently and take on tasks with minimal supervision.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.

• Must have high ethical standards and integrity in all business dealings.
