Bell Strategic Portfolio Financial Manager, Enterprise Architecture Office, CP3 in Ottawa, Ontario

As a Strategic Portfolio Financial Manager, you will be at the heart of managing and communicating our strategic investment plans. Working closely with senior leadership and various development, delivery and finance stakeholders, you will help analyze and model our long-term financial needs to support and justify key programs within the enterprise architecture portfolio, as well as manage nearer-term financial operations.Your role also entails being a critical contributor within a high-performing team that is responsible for leading the synthesis of complex technical, business, and financial directions into presentations and briefs intended to influence C-level executives on strategic technology investment decisions.Your role will have a direct impact on our investment efficiency and success in accomplishing our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop complex financial models, scenario analysis and investment profiles in support of strategic enterprise architecture programs, providing critical analysis for decision-making

• Build bottom-up long range planning forecasts for capital and expense expenditures, in collaboration with Finance teams and cross-functional business and technology teams

• Manage in-year spending to plans to ensure monthly targets are met

• Perform financial modelling in support of business casing efforts – costs and benefits – working with cross-functional team members

• Communicate directly to executive and stakeholder groups, presenting critical updates to inform and guide investment plans

• Core contributor as part of a team of strategists that shape and craft influential C-level communications on enterprise architecture directions, creating presentations with compelling messages

• Design and facilitate workshops, creating engaging content and methods to ensure effective knowledge transfer and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience working in strategic planning and/or financial management and operations

• Education in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines

• Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills, with proficiency in Excel.

• Exceptional proficiency in PowerPoint and Miro, with demonstrated experience in creating high-impact presentations and artifacts.

• Strong program management skills, including organizing work and facilitating group work sessions

• Demonstrated ability to deliver consistently high output under tight timelines, working efficiently within a team.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong technical synthesis ability.

• Highly motivated, committed, and capable of working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
