We have a terrific opportunity for a Technical Program Manager with a passion for owning processes and delivering high quality products in a complex, fast paced environment. We are looking for someone who is results-oriented and highly comfortable facilitating work intake for client engineering teams to meet commitments and successfully deliver high quality products and new features. What you'll do:

The Technical Program Manager will work with product and engineering teams to deliver world-class features for SiriusXM and Pandora. They will have a key role in guiding the team responsible for building foundation components for in-market and next generation applications. They will work with other Program Managers to communicate status, improve processes and deliver within agreed upon timelines.

  • Collaborate closely with product, design, operations, engineering, and other interdepartmental resources to successfully drive product requirements through the intake process with the highest level of quality
  • Own program status reporting for product roadmap items within your domain that are in pre-development stages
  • Adapt to changing conditions and modify project execution plan as appropriate while overseeing the work intake for multiple programs within your domain
  • Proactively highlight and resolve risks and issues and clearly communicate those risks to stakeholders
  • Identify blockers and facilitate the removal of those blockers
  • Define and execute end-to-end project plans for projects and programs
  • Define, implement and establish best practices for requirements intake processes for Client Engineering teams

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management or similar field, or equivalent experience, in lieu of degree
  • 2+ years managing technical program management teams in a software organization
  • Experience working in a fast paced, dynamic environment while successfully leading multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of engineering software processes, lifecycle methodology, configuration management, release management, and system verification and testing
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $97,000 to $135,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
