Join our dynamic team as a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer (AME) within our cutting-edge Industry 4.0 division. As part of the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team, you'll be instrumental in setting and upholding engineering standards for electrical, automation, robotics, and test equipment, driving innovation and efficiency across our operations.

How You'll Create Possibilities

  • Lead detailed planning for the conceptualization, specification, development, and implementation of manufacturing and laboratory test equipment.

  • Serve as a liaison between project teams and test platform developers, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.

  • Deploy innovative technologies to leverage equipment process data and enhance operational insights.

  • Evaluate and select sensors for test equipment deployments, ensuring quality requirements are met.

  • Collaborate with design teams to optimize Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DFMA) and Design for Testability (DFT).

  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies to inform equipment selection and enhancements.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in test or controls engineering within a large-scale manufacturing environment.

  • Prior experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and systems integration.

  • Proficiency in operating systems, software programming, and distributed architectures.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in root-cause analysis.

  • Familiarity with various instrumentation technologies.

  • Experience managing electromechanical equipment procurement projects.

  • Excellent project tracking and planning abilities.

  • Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively at all levels.

  • Willingness to travel for equipment deployment activities.

  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and Agile methodologies.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.

  • Experience with MS SQL databases and electrical equipment CAD design platforms.

  • Fluency in Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking technologies.

  • Understanding of data encoding schemes and experience with Deep Learning or Machine Learning.

  • Familiarity with data analysis software platforms and Six Sigma Certification.
