What you will do-
The Associate Demand Planner will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality consensus demand plans for the organization by leveraging statistical analysis with the best available cross-functional inputs and applying sound judgment based on knowledge of the business. You will turn data into insights and analyze the implications to each franchise specifically around the Demand Planning performance KPIs, root cause analysis, and drive improvements to visibility and decision-making. You will be involved in the development of analytical tools to speed up diagnostics within each franchise and provide insight for the daily, weekly, and monthly Demand Planning execution processes. You may interface with functional Demand and Supply Planning teams, IBP management, Finance, and Commercial teams. This is a hybrid role. We are seeking a candidate in the Hamilton or surrounding area. The employee is expected to be physically present at a Stryker location weekly for 2 days but has the flexibility to work from home.
Demand Planning Responsibilities:
Create and maintain high-quality demand forecasts and demand forecast analytics. Must assemble and analyze all data pertinent to creating/maintaining the demand forecast, including historical order bookings/shipments, item master data, market and macro-economic trends, seasonality, promotions, and product life-cycle management
Serve as the primary demand planning contact for Marketing, Sales, and Finance business partners, IBP Franchise Manager, and Global Operations Master Scheduler(s)
Partner with the global IBP team to ensure demand plans are communicated effectively across the supply function
Successfully partner with cross-functional teams in the monthly demand planning working sessions and Executive Demand Reviews
Support execution of the product life-cycle management process for all new product launches and product exits as it relates to the demand planning function. Monitor SKU levels and recommend rationalization initiatives for future consideration to Divisional/Global Operations leadership and make recommendations for targets based on changes in demand and market trends
Partner with the planning analyst(s)/forecast modelers to create reporting of analytics to support the business needs for better information in decision-making
Support current local tool development and maintenance through compelling visualizations to aide in further Demand Planning analysis for each franchise
Support the tracking of phase-in and phase-out status for each franchise to gain more visibility while also tracking the ongoing status of the product life cycle
What you need-
Bachelor's Degree in business management, finance, supply chain management, data science, engineering or other related field -required
Experience with PowerBI, Access, SQL, Cognos, and Oracle 'preferred'
Highly service-oriented, with a continuous commitment to enhancing the customer experience

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong financial acumen and critical thinking ability
Ability to demonstrate quantitative and analytical abilities
Highly computer literate, proficient in Excel and other MS Office applications
