Job Summary and Qualifications

The Director of Physical Therapy services collaborates with the Chief Operating Officer to provide the clinical management, direction, and planning in assigned areas for patient care activities and operations related to such activities. Ensures the financial, operational, and strategic objectives of the assigned departments are achieved. The Director of Physical Therapy services performs delegated duties consistent with the scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care at Rose Medical Center. The Director of Physical Therapy services displays positive support for the values and mission of Rose Medical Center. Responsible for the following areas: IP PM&R, OP PM&R, Sleep Center and Diabetes Center.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist

  • Masters Degree in Health Administration or Business Administration required

  • Minimum two years experience with progressive management in clinical and financial operations of a patient care services department. Proven record of achievements and leadership, problem solving and effective communication skills required. Flexible interpersonal communication skills to organization and community. Recent experience with implementation of JCAHO, HCFA, and other related standards required.

  • Must have effective verbal and written communication in order to communicate in a clear, concise manner with staff, employees, patients, public, physicians, and administration. Must have experience in budget preparation and control, regulatory criteria, scheduling and staffing, counseling and disciplining of employees.
