Amazon Associate Analyst, PCS - Tax Engine in Bratislava, Slovakia

Description

We are looking for smart, passionate individuals to join our Global Tax Calculation Services team supporting the product tax classification function. The Global Tax Calculation Services team is responsible for providing end-to-end global tax calculation services to Amazon and thousands of merchants selling on Amazon marketplaces and other e-commerce platforms.

This person will assist with the classification of billions of products, in multiple languages, for tax purposes. As a Product Classification Specialist on the Tax Engine team, the individual will have the opportunity to improve the customer experience by contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of the tax classification function.

Key job responsibilities

· Perform product tax classifications and participate in ongoing audit activities

· Perform basic product taxability research across a wide range of categories

· Expand and refine data retrieval techniques

· Utilize extensive product catalog attributes and other data to ensure products are classified properly for indirect tax purposes

· Participate in team operational excellence programs and process improvements

· Maintain metrics and reporting for measuring process improvement

Base pay for this position starts from EUR 1,133k+ gross per month and salary depends on the skills and requirements.Company benefits apply subject to further terms, including annual membership in medical clinic, life insurance, retirement pension, meal voucher card, career development.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Bratislava, SVK

Basic Qualifications

· Proficiency in English

· 1+ year of corporate experience

· Bachelor’s degree

· Detail oriented, highly organized, decisive, and self-motivated

Preferred Qualifications

· Tax experience not required, but a plus

· Proven ability to work and deliver effectively in customer-focused, cross-functional teams

· Excellent communication (written and oral in English) and interpersonal skills

· Strong analytical skills

· Experience working in environments with aggressive deadlines and production environments
