As a Senior Partner Solutions Architect, you will collaborate with a wide range of AWS software and consulting partners, from well-established tech giants to innovative cloud-native startups. Your role will be to lead partner teams in architecting enterprise-grade AWS solutions, developing and executing multi-day workshops, leading whiteboarding sessions, authoring whitepapers and blog posts, and responding to complex technical inquiries.

You will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering a Pan-Amazon strategy to build mindshare and broad adoption of the AWS platform across the partner community. You will leverage your deep technical expertise in software architecture, cloud computing, information security, compliance practices, product development, analytics, AI, and customer-facing skills to support our partner organization.

Key job responsibilities

  • Identify common patterns across prioritized use cases and build solutions with partners using AWS and Pan-Amazon capabilities.

  • Collaborate with AWS geo teams to scale these solutions across the AWS partner community.

  • Drive development of repeatable assets, solutions, products & accelerators with AWS Partners

  • Possess a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges to influence long-term product strategy.

  • Engage with partners at all levels of their organization, leveraging your technical acumen and executive communication skills.

  • Develop and deliver technical content, such as workshops, whitepapers, and blog posts, to enable partners and drive AWS adoption.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and features, as well as industry trends and best practices.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience

  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience

  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience

  • Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticals

  • Experience working with end user or developer communities

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $122,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
